Anne Sauve, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children and adolescents experiencing difficulty with anxiety disorders. Her particular area of interest is the use of cognitive behavioral therapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents.
Dr. Sauve earned her doctorate (Ph.D.) in Clinical and School Psychology in 2000 through a five year APA accredited doctoral program at Hofstra University. As part of her program, Dr. Sauve also received a Master of Arts (M.A.) with distinction from Hofstra University in 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology (with Honors) from Gettysburg College in 1994.
She worked in both outpatient and inpatient mental health treatment settings, prior to opening a private practice in 2007. In addition, Dr. Sauve served on the faculty as an adjunct professor at Hofstra University and Dickinson College. She also served as a visiting assistant professor in the Gettysburg College Psychology Department.
Dr. Sauve is an active member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
